Olympian has Foxhall lead
Olympic gold medalist David O'Connor and Outlawed held on to their dressage score lead Saturday at the Foxhall Cup, an upper-level, international competition that continues today on a Douglas County farm overlooking the Chattahoochee River.
O'Connor, who is president of the U.S. Equestrian Federation, went clear on the highly technical cross-country course of 45 jumps, even though this was his 11-year-old New Zealand thoroughbred's first attempt at a three-day competition of this difficulty.
