Most Expensive Equestrian Properties In The U.S.
Some of the last words any father wants to hear out of his daughter's mouth are: "I want a pony." The reason is that ponies go through money faster than Seabiscuit down the final stretch. Not only are they expensive to buy but they also cost a fortune to feed and stable. To stay out of the poorhouse, most indulgent parents of horsy preteens are content to board Trixie or Lulu Belle or Tearaway at a nearby farm and wait until their daughter discovers boys and hangs up her jodhpurs for good.
