Horse bites man; man files suit against owners
An Augusta man who stopped by a roadside pasture to feed carrots to a stallion is suing two Palermo stable owners because the horse bit off part of his ear. Paul Knickle claims Dusty and Pamela Haskell should have known their stallion was dangerous and kept him away from a public road, according to a lawsuit filed on Knickle's behalf in Kennebec County Superior Court.
